Viewer shortcuts: keyboard and mouse
The viewer is optimized for heavy use: combining mouse wheel, modifiers and a few keys, you can move very fast without touching the toolbar.
Mouse + wheel
| Action | Result |

| Wheel | Scroll between slices of the viewport under the cursor |
| Ctrl + Wheel (⌘ on Mac) | Zoom in / out |
| Shift + Click-drag | W/L (window / level) on any slice |
| Right click | Opens the annotation panel for the current slice |
| Double click on viewport | Maximize that viewport. Double click again: back to the grid. |
| Click + drag (Hand tool active) | Pan: move the image inside the viewport |

Touch gestures (iPad / tablet)
- Vertical swipe on a viewport: scroll slices.
- Pinch: zoom.
- Two-finger drag: pan.
- Long tap: open the contextual menu for the slice.
TipIf you get lost, press ? inside the viewer — a modal opens with the full list of shortcuts, updated with any version change.
