Open the CD or the DICOM folder right on your machine. Files are never uploaded: the app reads them from disk and runs the same viewer you use in the cloud.

What's included
Local library
The list of CBCT scans on your computer: patient, date, scanner and folder. Double-click a .dcm or drag the CD folder and it opens.
Your files never leave the computer
The app reads the DICOM files from disk and hands them to the viewer over a local channel. Nothing is uploaded.
Planning tools
Inferior alveolar nerve tracing, virtual implants, cephalometrics, TMJ, panoramic and oblique views, 3D view.

It is the same viewer as cbcthub.com: every improvement arrives on its own. The app updates itself for one year.

Pay once. Up to 3 computers per account, and you can switch computers from your account whenever you need.
Getting started
- 1Download and install the app.
- 2Open it and sign in with your CBCTHub account (creating one takes a minute).
- 3Buy Desktop Viewer inside the app or from this page and press "Activate this computer".
- 4Drag the CD folder in or double-click a .dcm file.
Frequently asked questions
Does it need internet?+
Yes, to open the viewer (it loads from cbcthub.com) and to sign in; your DICOM files still stay on your computer and are never uploaded. The license is verified offline for up to 30 days.
What happens after the year of updates?+
The app keeps working forever with the version you have. If you want to keep receiving new versions, you can renew updates.
I already have a Pro, Clinic or Ultra plan. Do I have to pay?+
No. Paid plans include Desktop Viewer: download the app, sign in and activate it.
Can I use it on another computer?+
Yes, up to 3 computers at a time. From your account you can remove one and activate another.
Does it open any CBCT?+
It opens standard DICOM series (a folder of .dcm files or a multiframe file) from Planmeca, Carestream, Sirona, Vatech, NewTom, Morita, i-CAT and others. STL/PLY from intraoral scanners too.
