Report templates

If you write reports with a repeated structure (for example, the same format for all implantology studies), templates save you from typing the same thing every time. You create a template with fixed text blocks and placeholders, and when you apply it to the report the skeleton fills in automatically.

Create a template

  1. 1
  2. 2
    Click New template.
  3. 3
Give it a descriptive name (e.g. “Posterior mandibular implants”).
  4. 4
Write the body: sections, headings, standard sentences. Leave variable data as placeholders in braces: {patient}, {date}, {age}.
  5. 5
Save. The template becomes available in the report editor selector.

Apply a template

In the viewer's report panel there is a Template selector. Choose the matching one and the editor fills with the template's content (placeholders are replaced with real patient data).

TipCreate separate templates by study type: third molars, implants, TMJ, routine findings, orthodontics, etc. Each one with its proper technical wording.
CasoTemplate for posterior implants

Suggested structure:

FINDINGS: - Bone status of the {sector} ridge. - Vertical bone availability: __ mm. - Buccolingual bone availability: __ mm. - Distance to the inferior alveolar canal: __ mm. - Bony trabeculae: density __. CONCLUSION: Case __ for placement of __ × __ mm implant. Safety margin to the IAN: __ mm.

You only fill in the variable data when reviewing the case, you no longer write the format every time.
