Presentation mode and Live session

When you need to show an exam to an audience — students in class, residents in a round, patient projected on a large monitor — the viewer has two modes designed for that: presentation and Live.

Presentation mode

Hides the dashboard UI and leaves the viewer full-screen with minimal controls. Useful for projectors:

    In the viewer, press F or use the fullscreen button.

    The sidebar, dashboard header and secondary bars disappear. The viewer + a minimal toolbar remain.
  3. 3
    If you activated anonymization, patient data is hidden automatically.

Live session (real-time sharing)

The Live session generates a public URL with a QR that attendees scan from their phones. What you show on your viewer is seen by everyone connected to that URL in real time.

    In the viewer, click Start Live (broadcast icon).

    A modal appears with the live URL + a large QR code.
  3. 3
    Project the QR in the room or share it via chat. Attendees scan it with their phone camera.

    While the session is active, your navigation (slice you change, W/L, annotations) syncs instantly with everyone connected.

    When finished, click End Live. The URL stops working.
TipImportant: the Live session by default is broadcast anonymized (no patient name). Useful for classes or conferences where you do not want to expose identifiable data.

Use cases

  • Radiology round: present a case to the team with everyone seeing the same.
  • University class: show a CBCT to a full room without students sharing your computer.
  • Synchronous second opinion: a remote colleague helps you navigate while you talk on the phone.
  • Office with patient: the patient watches the exam on their own phone while you explain from your monitor.
