Mobile app (iOS and Android)

CBCTHub is available as a native app on App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). The app shares your account with the browser: what you see in one session, you see in the other.

What the mobile app is for

  • Review exams from your phone when you are out of the office.
  • So a referrer can open the exam on their phone without having to use the browser.
  • Push notifications when a referrer opens the exam or leaves a comment.
  • Share an exam link via WhatsApp directly from the app.

Differences with desktop

The mobile app is viewer + basic management. It does not replace desktop for advanced flows:

  • The mobile viewer has Orthogonal, Panoramic and Oblique (no 3D).
  • Basic measurements: ruler and W/L with sliders.
  • No report writing or signing (that stays on desktop).
  • Exam upload: limited (better to use desktop for large DICOMs).
NotaOn Android tablets we use a 2D viewer with fewer features than on iPad — it is a WebGL float support limitation on Android chips. For advanced flows (3D, oblique with touch crosshairs), use iPad or desktop.

Download the app

  • iOS: search “CBCTHub” on the App Store.
  • Android: search “CBCTHub” on Google Play.
TipSign in with the same email you use in the browser. Accounts sync automatically.

Push notifications

The app can send push notifications when:

  • A referrer opens for the first time an exam you shared with them.
  • Someone leaves a comment on an exam where you are involved.
  • A team collaborator uploads an exam.

The first time you open the app it asks for notifications permission — if you accept, you can choose which events alert you from Settings › Notifications.
