CBCTHub Viewer license terms

1. What you buy

A license to use CBCTHub Viewer, the desktop app for Mac and Windows, for a one-time payment. The license is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and it is for professional use: you or your practice use it; it may not be resold or lent.

The software remains CBCTHub’s. What you buy is the right to use it without monthly fees.

2. Computers

You can have the license active on up to 3 computers at the same time. To use it on a new one, deactivate another from Settings → CBCTHub Viewer in your account.

The app needs internet to open the viewer (it loads from cbcthub.com) and renews the license by itself once a month. Your exams are still read from your computer and not uploaded.

3. Lifetime updates

You get every new version of CBCTHub Viewer at no extra cost: improvements, new tools and fixes. The app updates itself.

"Lifetime" means for as long as CBCTHub offers CBCTHub Viewer. If we ever stop, we will give at least 6 months’ notice and tell you how to keep using what you have.

4. What it does not include

The online features of CBCTHub Cloud: uploading and storing exams in the cloud, sharing by link, the page to receive exams, referrers, team, access from any computer and AI segmentation. That is what the Cloud subscription is for, and it also includes CBCTHub Viewer.

5. Free trial

You can use CBCTHub Viewer free for 7 days, without an account. When it ends, local use is locked until you buy the license or subscribe to Cloud. Your work from the trial stays on your computer.

6. Your exams and your data

Exams you open with CBCTHub Viewer stay on your computer: we do not upload them to any server. For that reason you are responsible for backing them up and for complying with your country’s health-data rules. The app includes a backup feature for your work.

To activate and renew the license, only your account email and a device identifier are sent.

7. Refunds

If CBCTHub Viewer does not work for you, we refund the full amount within 14 days of purchase. Write to support@cbcthub.com from your account email; when refunded, the license is deactivated on all your computers.

This does not limit any rights you have under your country’s consumer-protection law.

8. Clinical use

CBCTHub Viewer is a visualization and support tool. Measurements, segmentations and reports must be reviewed by a professional, who decides the diagnosis and treatment.
