Frequently asked questions

Is the app free?
The app is free with no in-app purchases. Your plan (Free, Pro, Max, Ultra) is managed from the web; the plan you have automatically applies when you sign in to the app.
Can I upload DICOMs from my phone?
Yes. If you receive a ZIP via WhatsApp, AirDrop or email, you can upload it directly to CBCTHub from the app without needing a computer.
Does the 3D viewer work well on mobile?
Yes. It's optimized with native 2D rendering for phones (does not require WebGL float that many older phones don't support). On iPad we use the full viewer same as desktop.
Is my data safe?
DICOM images are downloaded and processed on the device, encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Your plan determines what data stays cached locally; you can clear the cache from the app whenever you want.
Does it work offline?
You need a connection to download new exams. Once downloaded, you can view them offline. Voice dictation works offline (Whisper local).
Which Android versions are supported?
Android 8 (Oreo) or later, on phones with 4GB or more of RAM. The app is on Google Play in every country where Google distributes apps. If your device is very old or you can't find it, email us at support@cbcthub.com and we'll help you out.
