Our mission
CBCTHub was born from a real need in clinical practice: traditional CBCT viewers are expensive, require installation, and make it hard to share exams between professionals. We believed there had to be a simpler, more accessible and secure way to work with dental tomographies.
Our mission is to democratize access to professional-grade CBCT visualization tools, removing the cost, compatibility and complexity barriers that affect thousands of dentists, radiologists and specialists in Latin America and around the world.
Founder
Dr. Cristian Rosas Méndez
Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
Doctor of Dental Surgery from Universidad Austral de Chile, where he also served as a Radiology lecturer. He later completed a specialty in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Universidad Finis Terrae. He practices in Chile, reading thousands of cone-beam scans a year for dentists across Latin America.
He built CBCTHub because he saw the same problem repeat every day in practice: imaging centers handing patients exams on CDs and DVDs they would lose, referring dentists with no proper software to open them, and commercial viewers costing thousands of dollars — a cost that was prohibitive for most clinics in the region.
The idea was simple: a professional 3D viewer that runs in the browser, with no install, with link-based sharing, accessible to any radiology center or practice anywhere in the world.
Who we are
CBCTHub is operated by AppLab Software LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. The platform was founded and is clinically led by Dr. Cristian Rosas Méndez, specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
Direct clinical leadership is what sets CBCTHub apart from generic DICOM viewers: every feature is designed around how a radiologist or a dentist actually works in clinic — from panoramic reconstruction to voice-dictated reports.
